Don’t get tricked into renewing your domain name (url)!

Hey… anyone getting those annoying phone calls about being on the “first page of Google?” Well, this is kind of like that, but different.

We received in the mail today a notification that our url, www.Uconcepts.net is going to expire. See the photo attached. We need to make sure you won’t loose it so, send in your renewal funds and all will be good. Right? Not so quick Batman. Upon a closer look they are trying to get you TO MOVE your url to their registration company. Oh, and charge you for doing so….a lot more than we do for our clients. Matter of fact, if you are a client of ours, we will renew your url for FREE. And we make sure it won’t expire while you are with us. Use a reputable company like Enom, HostGator, or even GoDaddy.

Here are some thoughts when trying to figure out what to use as your domain name or url.
-Keep it short…if possible.
-Try to get your name.
-Try to get one with your town in it.
-What you do.
-Memorable, if possible.
You can use more than one, and we sometimes will use special ones to track the results of specific marketing campaigns.
