At Ubiquitous Concepts we have a Five-Phase Strategy for
Website Design and Planning
Phase 1A: Discovery
Discovery: Begin the website design & planning process
Client Interviews: No one understands your business better than you do- and we want to gain that understanding as well. In this stage we learn everything we need to know to help you develop an online strategy. This step is critical in building the best website and online strategy to fit your business. We ensure our team is on the same page as yours when we design your website.
Phase 1B: Goal Setting
Goal Analysis: What do you hope to achieve with your business in the upcoming years? What role will your online strategy play in reaching those goals? Will your website be the way clients find you? Do you plan to sell products or services online? Will your site connect to other social marketing components?
Industry Analysis: Once we understand your business, Uconcepts researches what others in your industry (including direct competitors) are doing both online and offline to market their business. This will help us design and position your website in a competitive fashion.
Phase 2: Website Planning
Website Planning: Determine features that are critical for the success of your website.
Features & Functionality: Determine technical requirements of your website (i.e. e-commerce, social media integration, specialized tracking etc.)
Information Architecture: Determine how information will be structured on your website (content management systems, database structure and management.)
Obtain Content: Where you the client will provide logos, pictures and clear content specific to your business.
Phase 3: Mock-Ups
Home Page Creation: The Uconcepts team translates ideas into visual imagery that gives you a clear idea of what your website will look like before we dive fully into development. We strive to hit the target every time the first time, however, this is where ideas come to fruition and you get input on your website design.
After a design meeting and approval we begin final development into a fully functional and visually stunning website.
Phase 4: Market
Marketing: Just like in days gone by, businesses of all sizes have limited budgets to spend on advertising. Choosing how to allocate those funds can be confusing; do you go with TV, Radio, Yellow Pages, Billboards, Magazines maybe even Newspapers? There fewer choices in the past but the marketing pool has expanded and so has your ability to reach new customers.
Today’s business marketing is diluted with competitors to make the most bang for your buck you must understand your clientele. We help you focus your marketing strategy on what works for your business, not what we are selling.
Phase 5: Maintenance
Finished Product: You have a beautiful new website and created some great marketing campaigns, you made it! Not quite, what would happen if you got an amazing new pool then never cleaned it or maintained it? Same for websites, they do not age well without proper maintenance.
Ensure your website and campaigns are working for you well into the future. As fast as technology changes and software updates requires a team that stays on top of your investment. We are here to do just that and with maintenance plans that fit a host of budgets you’ll be sure your website is well kept.
